Last weekend, I had the delightful opportunity to go on my very first photoshoot (as the photographer) with two absolutely darling ladies. They are both very inspirational to me, and both absolutely delightful individuals. Their names are Hannah and Anna, and you can see more of there work here and here.

It was such a wonderful afternoon! I adored getting to meet and hang out with these ladies, and to have such an adventure in the snow, taking photographs!

It was truly delightful and a fabulous experience. I look forward to more photoshoots (email me if you are interested! Info in "About" section) and learning as I go.

Today we watched ALL of the LOTR trilogy movies. In a row. 10+ hours. Whew. But it was so good! I loved geeking out with my family and enjoying the movies based on the books we grew up reading. It was also the first time my  husband watched the movies! So it was a lovely "only happens during break" thing to do. Absolutely delight. xo, rosalynne

Today was absolutely charming. Caught up with many friends that I have not seen in far too long, and truly just enjoyed being surrounded by good company and quaint places. Life is truly wonderful.

A tradition with my family when eating Thai -- we also drink jasmine tea.

First day in Illinois with my family! We all went and saw a late matinee of The Hobbit -- finally! It is tradition to see all the LOTR movies together as a family, and that would not exclude the Hobbit! It was excellent :) Afterward we went and dined in probably our favorite restaurant as a family. It's called Thara Thai Pan and it's ran by this beyond adorable Thai family! They are so sweet and my parents are regulars there. It was an absolutely delightful way to dine together!

While home for Christmas, my darling hubby found his old treasure... A gameboy! Well, two actually, along with some games (more, not pictured). Crazy, right?

Remember when these were considered 

"high tech"? I do! 

I loved playing these games back in elementary and middle school. 

My husband, all the adorable computer nerding that he is, remarked how poor the pixelation was. Ohhhh goodness. Either way, it was a memory flashback and a lot of fun to try and remember how to play again (perfect for roadtrips)! :) Have any of you found anything recently that brought back nostalgia from the simpler days and times? I have many plans and goals planned for this year, I am excited as ever to embark on the new journey of this year! How do you all feel about it? P R O J E C T 365

Hello darlings!

I originally started a Project 365 in the beginning of December, but I decided that while I  am still early in the game I will actually be starting over and on January 01, 2013 ~ with Elise over at a Beautiful Mess. With new inspiration and a gusto to try and grow as an artist, I am excited to start on this adventure! This is my first official one, so I am going to keep it a 365 "The Life Around Me" (la vie autour de moi) theme. It's all about whatever you enjoy the most in life and want to discover a little deeper.
